Hellow,
I'm having trouble unzipping files with windows 77. I can't see an extract button anywhere when I press the applications key on the file and if I try pressing enter on the file name, it tries to open it in adobe reader or whatever that's called. Does anyone know of any preferably free programs I could get to unzip files successfully?
Thank you.

I don't use windows 7 but I'm sure there's a version of Win Zip that's compatible with it. That's what I use on XP. Also, typing in unzip freeware windows 7 might yield some results. Good luck.

I've found an answer to it now, which a friend sent to me tonight. I can't remember what the program's called, but it works and it's free, so that even better.

Not sure how much win rar costs. I think the one I've got is called universal extracter or something.
